로터스 가든 호스텔 이즈미르

Ahmet and Cosku are a couple from Turkey who opened this hostel 8 years ago. We have been worked a lot since today. The house that we rent for long term was empty for ten years. There was nothing inside the house. Only dust and spiders :)
We have created this hostel with very good energy. We put full of our passion, care and love in it during the construction. Nowadays, we are sharing our peace and love with our guest and friends here and being enjoy it. They are calling this place ' An oasis in the middle of the city'.
We love nature. We are very sensitive and respect to our natural being. That`s why we recycle our rubbish as much as we can. We make our own cleaning material. We don`t use any chemicals for washing the dishes and sheets and clothes. We make our own detergent with natural materials. We use our kitchen left over food for our chickens and cats, the rest of is compost for the garden.
One of our guest really insist to us to call our hostel "Eco Hostel". I promise to him write this words. To be honest I wouldn`t prefer to write it because nowadays being ecological is a fashion and advertisement of companies. For us it is a must and the language of nature and it is our life style. We are doing what our ancestors did it.

*We are right in the middle of the city, very very close to one of the main metre/train station which calls BASMANE train station... We have garden with many trees, flowers, a small fountain and a courtyard which is very cool in hot summer days. The hostel building is a restored antique wooden building, build earlier then 1839.

****We have brand new AIR-CONDITIONER in every private and dorm rooms: They keep warm during the winter and keep cool during the summner. In addition, for some guests who `don`t want to use AC, there are ceiling fans in the rooms.

***EVERY MORNING we have open buffet home-made, freshly prepared ORGANIC BREAKFAST. (+40 TL)

*We have a SHARED KITCHEN, where there is a separate fridge for our guests. The kitchen as well has a quite big space and has a glass window in the ceiling.

*We have bicycles for rent (100 tl), as Izmir's main areas are mostly flat and easy for cycling. There is a bicycle road next to the seaside. Our reception hours is from 08:30 to 00:00 midnight. Feel free to contact us between these hours and you can always reserve a space via directly reaching us by phone or mail.

There is a laundry service in our hostel. It is 150 TL.

We are very close to the main attraction areas in Izmir, like Agora ruins (5 minutes walk), Kemeralti open Grand Bazaar area (10 minutes walk), Kultur Park (5 minutes walk), Kadife Kale Castle (25 minutes walk) and famous Clock Tower (15-20 minutes walking) And around the hostel, there are many small streets with old houses and local shopping street where you can view local life.

Our rooms have 4 to 5 meter high ceiling and big windows which brings lots of sun light in. Free WiFi and 24 hours hot water are available.
Our Cherry Room is a very big spacious room with a double bed and a single bed can be added. The room is 21 m2 and has a very high ceiling.
The Rose Room is very big dorm room with a garden view. Every single bed has its own window, private curtain, electric socket and shelf.
