Great property. Staff, when free, will hang out with guests in the common area. Something I haven’t experienced in Argentina much. My third hostel in Mendoza. It doesn’t have the same amount of programming (lots of people doing their own thing), but has a good collective vibe and is incredibly close to restaurants and the main park! Nice dorms and showers too.

Great hostel with great staff! We were welcomed by lise ( sorry if I spelt wrong) who made us feel at home for our whole stay, all the rest of the staff were also really cool especially Juan Pablo who organised an amazing Asado and cooked for around 20 people! We were only booked for four nights but ended up staying for ten! Highly recommended from us 10/10

Jaque Mate was so great, I ended up extending and extending and extending until deciding to spend the rest of my time in Mendoza here! The staff are wonderful, the hostel extremely clean, and the common areas a great place to mingle. Stay here!
