The charming Hotel Rita Major Firenze dates back to 1700 and offers warm hospitality in the city center of Florence.
The hotel is located a few steps from the most important museums and monuments and is easily accessible from the boulevards and ring roads surrounding the city. It is located in a quiet and lovely garden, situated in a quiet residential area of Florence.
For over 50 years our family welcome guests with a friendly welcome in a warm atmosphere.The rooms are spacious and bright all with private bathrooms, some with the preparation for the disabled, others have air conditioning all with satellite TV, most have private bathrooms. The hotel also has some areas in common, such as a bar, a tea room with TV and comfortable lodge for breakfast.

Payment upon arrival by cash and credit cards
Check in from 14.00 To 24.00
Check out before 11.00
Continental breakfast included
Taxes not included (city tax of 4,50 per person/night)
A child under the age of 5 can stay in existing beds for a surcharge of € 10.00
Up to two adults are charged 25,00 per person/night for extra beds
Private Garage is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not needed) and costs 15,00 per day

Great place to stay in Florence, just a bit out of the centre so if you're looking for somewhere quieter this is the spot! The staff were lovely and friendly, and there is always someone around the front desk to help out 24/7. Breakfast was a simple buffet but always enough to get us started and a fresh hot drink was provided. We had an amazing private balcony to the room which was an added bonus. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh linen. A great place to stay!

Super comfortable and nicely kept hotel. Very authentic style and we loved the breakfast and outdoor area. The location was about a 15 minute walk into main part of town each way. Only downside was our aircon didn't work properly and there was a heatwave when we were there. The hotel also puts a child lock on the aircon so you can't lower it past a certain point and given ours was broken our room warm the whole time. We tried to get help with this but they didn't want to unlock it for us.

Our stay at Rita Major was one of my favourites throughout our trip! We had such a nice room with good AC. Everyone at the front desk was very nice and the free breakfast was delicious. Super comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend.
