The atmosphere was good and the staff was very friendly. The property is older and ot shows in the room. The air conditioner was not working properly in my room amd there was not a proper fan for a substitute, so it was a warm night.

Bit of a mixed bag for me. The hostel has a pool and is only a few minutes walk from all the bars. However, the sheets in my room were really worn away and uncomfortable. The bed was also very uncomfortable. I had read that this hostel is quieter than others in Tamarindo but it was fairly noisy. Music goes off at 11pm but you can still hear stuff because the walls are thin. The biggest negative for me was the staff. I asked one a question and he acted like I had said something rude.
