Situated in the city centre and directly opposite to the extensive and famous harbor, our Youth Hostel is well placed for visiting Hamburg's traditional Fish Market (since 1703), galleries and shops - as well as enjoying the vibrant nightlife and seafarer romantic - the way it was once celebrated in the songs of the German crooner Hans Albers - at the famous 'Reeperbahn' and the neighbouring 'Schanzenviertel', a place of pulsing scene life.
Our Youth Hostel offers capacity for 357 people and facilities include TV, laundry, kitchen and meal services. From the terrace of our hostel, guests enjoy a fabulous view of the harbor.
Important: For a stay with us a Hostelling International Membership is required. International guests without membership pay a surcharge of 3,50 Euro for the first 6 nights to obtain a full membership for the use of more than 4.000 Youth Hostels worldwide. German residents can become a member of the German Youth Hostel Association for 12,50 Euro per year (older than 26 years and for families: 21,00 Euro) upon arrival.
Prices apply to guests younger than 26 years. Guests older than 26 years pay a surcharge of 5,50 Euro per person and night. All prices include breakfast and sheets.
Mixed dorms and double rooms can only be booked by adults, minimum age 18 years!

Your reservation is valid on day of arrival until 18:00 clock. If you arrive after 18:00 clock, the reservation must be confirmed by you by telephone on day of arrival.
In order to confirm your booking, you need to provide us with full name and address.

그냥 괜찮아요 8인 혼실인데 서로 배려하고 그러고
조식도 다양하구 저는 만족스러웠습니다 ! 다만 ㅋㅐ리어 들고 갈려면 좀 힘들수도 ... 어린얘들 많아 좀 시끄러울수있어요 리셉션근처 ... 이상입니당

지도 상 위치는 좋은데 그곳까지 가기위한 길이 좋다고 볼 수 없다. 방 안에 화장실이 있어서 좋았다. 침대 옆에 콘센트와 전등이 있어서도 좋았다.

- 방 청소가 제대로 되지 않아 먼지가 쌓여있고, 쓰레기가 굴러다니고 있었음. 다른 이용자가 침대를 바꿔서 사용하고 있는데도 모른다는 것은 방 점검은 안 한다는 것 아닌지요?
- 역에서부터 계단을 올라가야 하는데 호스텔 입구에서도 계단을 올라가야 했음. 호스텔 입구에는 엘리베이터가 있음에도 차단해 놓고 있으면서 시설 내에서 엘리베이터를 이용할 수 있다는 이유로 엘리베이터가 있다고만 표시되는 것은 곤란함. 엘리베이터 없는 구간도 있음을 알려야 한다고 생각함.
- 홈페이지에 올라와 있는 사진보다 훨씬 낡은 시설임. 공식 유스호스텔 중에 이렇게 낡고 관리가 안되는 시설은 처음 보았음. 따라서 시설 대비 가격이 너무 비쌈. 독일 내 다른 도시에 잇는 호스텔에 비해서 너무 낙후함.
