Le Couvent Hostel is a modern and elegant youth hostel, located in the heart of Carcassonne city. This former 17th century convent has preserved its architecture and all the authenticity of the buildings of the period with its cloister, arcades and vaults. Around the Bar, in the cloister sun, or on our rooftop, it will be pleasant for you to share fomemade Tapas created by our Chef.
Le Couvent Hostel provides non-smoking rooms, a restaurant open on tursday, friday and saturday night until 2:00am, free WiFi and a bar.
Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a patio. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and luggage storage space.
A continental breakfast is available daily at the hostel!!

This trip was not what I was expecting it to be, the hostel itself is modern and well designed. However, a few things that made this trip not great and what would make me not book again is
1. No bath mats in the bathrooms
2. No soap dispenser in the bedroom bathroom??
3. They claim they have ‘luggage stroage’ but when we checked out early at 10AM no one was even in the hostel downstairs it was all locked! When we came back at 2PM to see if anyone was there still no one !! So don’t expect to land early to le

Very nice hostel with understanding staff, got stranded there during French pension protests and the staff helped me find and plan other ways to leave the area during the strikes.

You didnt have any common rooms or kitchen to stay at except your own room... so not much interaction with people and no cooking possible as well...
