Overall very happy with this hostel. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The location is great. Right in downtown Ha Long close to the warf area. I had my own room for 15 USD a night which was very spacious. The bathroom is very basic and not especially nice but for the price it is exactly as I expected it to be. The hostel definitely has a backpacker vibe with a pool table in the ground floor reception area. Nothing at all fancy but exactly what you would expect at this price.

Very helpful host. Sorted us out with a cruise and gave us a lift to and from the port. Our room was clean and well located and good amenities in the hostel.
Breakfast is very well priced (included with room for a small amount extra) and was generously sized.

Only had an overnight stay but it’s a nice little cosy hostel with clean rooms and free breakfast.
Alex was really friendly and helpful with information and booking a bus for us
