Hostel Manaus is on Rua Lauro Cavalcante, a quiet residential street set back from the noise of the thriving metropolis. Hostel Manaus is a heritage-listed site, built during the rubber boom of the 19th century. With its high ceilings and chandeliers, it boasts space for forty beds, a communal kitchen and washing facilities. Dormitory rooms have just six beds for added privacy, some with air-conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. Private couples and single rooms are also available.
