Thank you for your booking at Cloudland Youth Hostel(昆明大脚氏国际青年旅舍). Please let us know in case of any changes.


Just for your information, we can't take credit cards and there is a key deposit of 100 Yuan/key on arrival that we give you back when you check-out.


The reception is 24 hours but our stuff work during night (12p.m—7a.m) cannot speak English, if you need anything there will be someone help during the day. Our restaurant serves coffee, food and drinks with a fair price from 8a.m, food stops at 11p.m and drinks/coffee stop at 12p.m.


We offer tickets booking service including trains, bus, flight tickets with the booking fee 15RMB (9:00--17:00) and you will get your tickets at the reception. We can also help you book the tickets of Dynamic Yunnan (top choice in Yunnan) with a price you can never get in elsewhere.


【Traffic information】


1、From the airport (40km, 120 RMB by taxi)

By bus: take airport Bus #1 You can take airport Bus #1 (空港一号线)to the last stop: West INN (西驿酒店，小西门原南疆宾馆).Its 25 yuan per person and about 45 minutes drive . From here you have a couple of options.
Option 1: You can take a taxi from the bus stop. it should be no more than 15-20 RMB. This is the address #23 Zhuan Tang Lu (篆塘路23号，大脚氏国际青年旅舍，五华区卫生防疫站隔壁）
Option 2: You can walk south until you get to the very big bridge walkway intersection. There will be people walking over and under it. If you are on the right side of the road when walking to it, stay on that side and turn right when you get to the big bridge area. Walk until you get to XiChangLu (西昌路）it is a big street and there should be signs of both ways I wrote it. Cross the street and turn left. You will walk on this street for a little bit more than 5 minutes. You will see a garden to your right hand side. Walk on the street just before the garden and you should see it within a minute or two, and you will be here!

By Subway:

First take the metro line 6 to the east bus station and change to line 3 and then get off ant PAN JIA WAN （潘家湾）stop, please get out at the exit A.and then you would arrive at our hostel within 10 minutes' walk, first walk along XI CHANG road(西昌路）， then keep walking along the main road, after passing the next big crossing ,turn right at the first turning , you would see a yellow building on your left hand, that's us.

The South Train Station(昆明南高铁站) (27KM, 150RMB through taxi)

Take subway No.1 and get off at Dong Feng square （东风广场）,Then change to line 3 and then get off ant PAN JIA WAN （潘家湾）stop, please get out at the exit A.and then you would arrive at our hostel within 10 minutes' walk, first walk along XI CHANG road(西昌路）， then keep walking along the main road, after passing the next big crossing ,turn right at the first turning , you would see a yellow building on your left hand, that's us.


2、From Train station (4KM, 20RMB by taxi)

No.64 bus
Out of train station ,walk to the first crossing ,turn right.In your left side take bus64 and get off at Yunnan Daily bus stop(云南日报社）.It takes about 20 minutes.Then walking back about 20m, you will find a small crossing,Turning left and walking 100m, you will see the elementary school of Xinwen Road and a garden during the way. Going through the garden and looking to left, you will find a yellow building appears in your sight.)

3、From Bus stations:

There are five bus stations in Kunming. The two biggest stations are the South Station (to Lao border, Jinghong, Yuanyang ...) and the West Station (bus to Dali, Lijiang ...).


(1) Kunming West Bus Station (昆明西部汽车客运站) (8 KM ,25 yuan by taxi)

1.No.148 bus. It takes about 40 Min.
Out off the bus station to main road , cross the road walk to the crossing near you , cross it and turn right . You will be see the bus stop in front of you , take No148 and take off at The No.1 Affiliated Hospital of KMC(昆医附一医院）, then walk back about 30m ,you will arrive at a small IRON Bridge , cross it and walk along the road about 3 minutes ,you will be see our hostel with Yellow hose and China National Flag . Welcome to our hostel!

2.The East Bus Station (昆明东部汽车客运站）15KM,40RMB by Taxi)
1.NO.22 bus.It takes about 1Hr.
Catch the bus No.22 out of the Bus Station. Then get off at The No.1 Affiliated Hospital of KMC(昆医附一医院）, then walk back about 30m ,you will arrive at a small IRON Bridge , cross it and walk along the road about 3 minutes ,you will be see our hostel with Yellow hose and China National Flag . Welcome to our hostel!
