Escarabajo Hostel is located in Cerro Bellavista, one of the beautiful hills of Valparaiso, near to the city center and surrounded by attractions such as traditional bars, cultural centers, restaurants, an open-air museum of street art, and is pretty close to one of Pablo Neruda”s famous houses, La Sebastiana. The hostel is easily accessible by walking, colectivo (shared taxi) or bus.
In Escarabajo Hostel have comfortable double and shared rooms, all with security lockers, bathroom and shower in the room.

Great vibe, I like the interior windows in the kitchen and lobby area. Very well done. Escabajo is in a great location, in the middle of Valparaiso. I don’t know what the dorm is like because I had a private room. I was stoked

This is a good choice of hostel to be near much of the colorful graffiti, stairs and elevators. The building is very interesting and spacious. Even the dorms have lots of room but typical small bathroom. Very nice staff, good wifi and well equiped kitchen. If the kitchen had been better attended by the staff I would give it a 10/10. But the clean dishes were always piled beside the sink and several guests never bothered to clean their dishes so the sink was often filled with dirty dishes.
