The Cowboy Bunkhouse is a Western Hostel where guests can experience the Old West by sleeping in bunk beds, visiting with other travelers, and getting suggestions on where to go from the Trail Boss. You can relax with a book in the Parlor, sing around the old piano in the Sarsaparilla Saloon, and pick fresh veggies from the garden for dinner. Learn the history of the American Cowboy. Guests have access to common areas, kitchens, dining rooms, library, and game room. There are also hiking areas behind the building to see a great view of Kanab. A fully equipped kitchen is open at any time with standard kitchen staples provided. Pantry and refrigerator space are available to store food supplies purchased at a local grocery store.

Kanab is located in the center of a number of state parks, national parks, and national monuments: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, Capitol Reef, Grand Staircase, Lake Powell, and the Grand Canyon. All are with in a few hours driving distance. In addition there are many local attractions to see and experience. This is a great place to make base camp for sightseeing in the area. We are 77 miles from Bryce Canyon, 78 miles from Grand Canyon North Rim, 202 from Grand Canyon South Rim, and 40 miles from Zion.

The Cowboy Bunkhouse features a variety of accommodations: single twin, double twin, and triple twin rooms, small family rooms, family rooms, a large family room, a large shared bunk room for men, and a large shared bunk room for women. The rooms are furnished with beds, mattresses, chairs, and tables or desks. Mattress covers, linen, blankets, pillows, and 1 towel per guest are provided.

Additional features: WiFi, general store, camping area, bicycles for rent, secure storage lockers, chain link fenced area for pets or camping, and a secure storage room for mountain bikes.

Cancellation policy: 24 hours before arrival.

Check in from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm Utah time.
Check out time 11:00 am.

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit card, or debit card. Taxes included.

The lobby is open from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm Utah time.

24 hour security.
Pet friendly. One adult cat lives on the premises.

Tobacco, alcohol, drugs or other illegal activities are not permitted on the premises.

Unregistered guests are not permitted in the bunkrooms or private rooms.
There are to be no illegal activities of any kind.
Foul language and/or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Any damaged or stolen property must be reported and/or compensated for.
