Our homey and relaxed hostel offers the ideal place to sleep, socialise and see the sights! Our funky place is a warm blend of hostel and guesthouse.
The local cafes, restaurants, pubs, clubs, street art, farmers markets, street performers and colourful buildings of the Old City Quarter create the charm of downtown. Plus the seawall is only a block and a half away, providing a great place to go for a stroll, and enjoy the views of the harbour, including the glorious mountains across the Salish Sea. The waterfront area also has a swimming lagoon, crabbing opportunities, local artisans, delicious ice cream, and access to Newcastle island for camping & day trails!
Besides the parts of Nanaimo to explore, our Central Island location makes us a great home-base for day trips!
We are within day-trip distance to: Port Renfrew, Victoria, Parksville, Denman Island, Courtenay/Comox, Mount Washington Ski Hill/Strathcona Provincial Park, and countless countless day hikes!!
Our guesthouse provides you with a comfortable room with towels and linens included, limited kitchen use (covid-19), free coffee. We also offer FREE luggage storage, coin-operated laundry facilities, and local tourism information.
We have dorm beds (female, male & co-ed), private rooms, and family rooms - perfect for backpackers and groups. Each floor is equipped with 4 shared bathrooms, 3 of which have showers in them. Our family friendly, home-away-from- home ambience, makes us perfect for every kind of traveller.

하지만 ë°©ìŒì´ 별로 ë˜ì§€ ì•Šì•„ 발소리, 문 닫는 소리가 ë“¤ë ¸ê³ ë¬¸ì´ ê²¹ì¹˜ëŠ” ê³³ì—ì„œ ë¨¸ë¬¼ë €ê¸° ë•Œë¬¸ì— ì¡°ê¸ˆ 불편했어요.
ë°©ì´ ë§Žì´ ì¶”ì›Œì„œ 히터(?)를 가장 세게 í‹€ê³ ìž¤ìŠµë‹ˆë‹¤. 건조하지는 ì•Šì•˜ê³ ë”°ëœ»í–ˆì–´ìš”!
í™”ìž¥ì‹¤ì´ ê³µìš©ì´ë¼ 조금 불편했습니다. ì´ ë¦¬ë·°ë¥¼ 번ì—해보실지는 ëª¨ë¥´ê² ì§€ë§Œ..ë‚¨ìž ì—¬ìž í™”ìž¥ì‹¤ì„ êµ¬ë¶„ì§€ì–´ 놓는 ê²ƒì´ ì¢‹ì„ ê²ƒ 같아요.
ì£¼ë°©ì€ ê¹¨ë—í•œ 편ì´ì—ˆê³ ì²´í¬ì¸í•œ 후 ì§ì›ì´ 호텔처럼 ì´ê³³ì €ê³³ì„ ê°™ì´ ë‹¤ë‹ˆë©° 설명해주어서 좋았습니다.
ì „ì²´ì 으로는 호스텔 중ì—ì„œë„ ê¹¨ë—í•˜ê³ ì‹œì„¤ì´ ì¢‹ì€ íŽ¸ì´ë¼ëŠ” ìƒê°ì´ ë“니다.

Unfortunately this location is mostly a long term older person's tenant location. Wouldn't call it a Hostel. Very weird and uncomfortable atmosphere .. one male tenant kept approaching me .. he was drunk.. kept getting very close, touching my back and arm. I went to move and he told me 2 times to sit down which I politely moved with him approaching a 3rd time. Very outdated, old, musty and overpriced for what it was. Loud with the bar downstairs. Again very uncomfortable and weird.

Overall the property is nice and I bet it can be really fun in the summer months. In the off season, it was quiet and rather clean. However the oven was fairly hard to work and the overall atmosphere was a little odd.
