The Landing Hostel is an eclectic mix of casual elegance and backpacker affordability. We have a friendly, tri-lingual (English, Spanish, and some French) staff who want to make you comfortable in your home away from home. We offer private rooms with bath, clean dorm rooms, and a romantic cabina. Our lush landscaping and comfortable sitting areas set us apart from the rest. Our bar is the perfect place to end a satisfying day of exploring all the island has to offer our guests. Under new management and a restaurant is coming soon.

Exactly as advertised, clean, cozy and quiet. The location was ideal and really easy to find as it was right off the boat dock. We recommend renting a motorcycle, we were able to see the entire island. Great staff too, thank you guys!

To be fair, here are my pros and cons: PROS: -located really close to the ferry, no need to pay for a cab. -The Mexican restaurant next to it: the owner is the nicest person ever. Super friendly and helpful. - cute & chill terrace on the upper level floors -affordable rates CONS: -I didn't feel safe. One night a random guy entered the room. I guess he thought the room was empty? -lots of mosquitoes (not their fault!) but no net on windows. -not a social hostel, avoid for solo travelers

Like the name implies, most people here are in transit. All but 1 person in my 8 bed dorm had cleared out before 8 am, so might as well expect to get up early and roll with it. Staff was really nice, but not the type that mingles overall with you. Surprisingly great shower though for an island in Central America. Def good to crash here and figure out your trip!
