Since its inauguration in 1995, the hostel takes great care with the satisfaction of our guests, providing a welcoming, and even maybe family-like, stay. Our hostel is in Ponta Delgada, 5 minutes from the urban center, which allows for walks to get to know the city.

Next to the hostel, you can also find the fantastic Antonio Borges garden, which is a great place to relax and simply let your imagination runs wild through the various labyrinths of nature.

This house is great not only because of this, but also due to the personal service, where every guest is a face, and not just a name.

It's a youth hostel, you basically get what you pay for. We had a nice room, beds were OK. Shower was huge, somehow we were put into the room for people with disabilities, but doesn't matter of course. We only stayed there one night and it was good. Weird thing is that you have to leave the room with the reception every time you leave the house? Kinda weird, but in the end no big issue since hotels have a spare key anyway and the reception is open 24/7. One issue is that the room we had was very noisy, mean

F**k this if you expect a common hostel… this thing doesn’t even have a kitchen… breakfast was ok… Matress ok… but no proper opportunity to hang out or interact with people
