This hostel advertises as being “posh” or a resort, but it’s not. Everything is outdated and maybe it was nice 10 years ago, but now it’s like they haven’t bothered replacing things as they need to. The room had no mirror, no chest of drawers, no chair, no wardrobe even though it had plenty of space! The walls needed patching as they had holes. The whole building rattled and sounded like it was breaking when people walked on second floor above!
However, staff and hammocks were nice.

It was great! We had a private room which was very clean. Can’t speak to the dorm side or the communal bathrooms as we did not use them. Staff was very friendly and spoke perfect English. Felt very safe, there was a security guard between 10pm and 6am I believe. The gate was locked most of the day so no randoms could come in. Honestly felt the value was super worth it.
