Book your bed with us at Backpackers Goteborg when you are travelling to Gothenburg!
We offer you inexpensive accommodation and a great place to meet other backpackers from all over the world!
We are an eco-friendly hostel located in Linnéstaden in the southwest part of the city. In this area, you will find lots of bars, pubs, restaurants and cafés and most of Gothenburg's sights, like it´s canal, gardens and museums are within walking distance.
Get to know the city and take part in our social events!
What events we do depend on the weather and season. We organize for example walking tours, karaoke, quiz nights, bar hopping, pizza night, football matches in slottsskogen, taco night and bbq nights. Free of charge to join, but everyone pays for their own drinks or food.
Only 10 min from the Centralstation by bus (bus 60 to Vegagatan) or tram (1 or 6 to Olivedalsgatan)
Facilities
We have a fully equipped kitchen and common area where you can cook, hang out and meet new people!
We offer free WiFi - so you can stay connected when away from home.
Dirty laundry? In the reception, you can book the washing machine/dryer for 65 SEK
We also have a pool table for guests to use.
You can also use our sauna. We offer it for free between 5-8 pm every day.
And every day we offer an eco-friendly breakfast buffet with vegan options for 85SEK!
The different types of accommodation we offer are:
Gender specific dorms with 8 beds in each
Private: 2, 3 and 4- bedded rooms
Our rooms are equipped with TV (except the dorms) and a hairdryer. Most of our rooms have bunk beds and all shared rooms have lockers so you can store your bags safely.

도미토리 여성 12인실을 썼는데 방도 깨끗하고 각 침대마다 커튼이 쳐저있고 조명이 있어 개인적인 생활을 하기에 편했다.
주방을 자유롭게 이용할 수 있어 조식을 주지 않아도 괜찮았다. 화장실도 깨끗하고 만족한다.

Good location and clean facilities. However very noisy hostel due to the large school and sporting groups of young children. All day and into the night thumping down the halls yelling and slamming doors. The common areas were taken over by these groups which make it difficult to socialise. Staff very friendly and happy to give advice.

Nice Hostel, if a little old fashioned, mostly clean but found pieces of chocolate (I hope) under the mattress protector on my bed before I made it. Not a very social Hostel but does the job. Also my plug socket by the bed was broken and so was the lock on my locker under the bed.
