It is definitely up the hill compared to other pricey hostels, but it is really not that bad. Hot water was not great in my room, but in another bathroom it worked fine. Rooms are spacious and they have lockers for your valuables. Front door does not have a lock, but the rooms are upstairs from the front. Beds very comfy and rooms are clean. Staff nice, kitchen works well, clean drinking water provided. Would recommend!

The hostel is located in the centre of San Pedro so be prepared to hike up the hill every day, but this is true for most hostels there. The staff was friendly and helpful but sometimes understaffed.

Good value for money - hostel was quiet and clean. It is a bit of a walk up a hill from the Main Street in San Pedro.
