숙소 정보
Shangri -la Liotard Farm Fix Camp is located in Hongpo Village, Shangri-La, just a 20-minute drive from Dukezong Ancient Town and Diqing Airport. Nestled in a Tibetan village on a valley ranch in the heart of Shangri-La, the farm sits in front of a vast pasture like a giant green platter, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, with streams winding through the fields. Adjacent to the 800-year-old Dabao Temple, this farm marks the starting point for pilgrimages into Tibet, considered a sacred place where travelers obtain the key to Tibet's gates.
In 2010, inspired by the century-old footsteps of explorer Joseph Rock, French writer, traveler, and adventurer Constantin founded the Liotard Caravane in Shangri-La. Specializing in organizing outdoor trekking adventures, the Caravane aimed to revive the luxurious experiences of Western explorers while continuing the customs of the ancient Tea-Horse Road caravans of Yunnan. The Liotard Caravane has been frequently featured in the French magazine Le Figaro, and some French travelers had explored the now-popular Abujee Lake long before it gained recent fame. Initially attracting guests from France and Europe, the Caravane has since welcomed adventurers from around the globe, including an increasing number of elite Chinese guests in recent years.
After 13 years of adventures, the Caravane now has a permanent home at the Liotard Farm. If you're unable to join the trekking tours, you can still experience the refined luxury of glamping here. From the Belgian-imported bell tents, identical to those used in the trekking camps, to Tibetan delicacies and authentic French cuisine, every detail reflects a blend of Tibetan culture and the innate romance of modern French sensibilities. Outside the tents, a Tibetan-style manor house, maintained with French aesthetics for over a decade, offers a single guest room. If you're fortunate enough to spend a night here, the experience of living like nobility will leave a lasting impression.
