Welcome to the newest addition to vibrant Little Italy, Hostels by Hotel Zindel!

Located just 2 blocks from India St home too many of San Diego's best restaurants and nightlife, you'll enjoy both our indoor and outdoor common spaces and range of private rooms with shared bath and bunk rooms.

We offer contactless check in to ensure you will not have to wait in any lines to check in, and can head straight to your room once you have completed the online registration prior to arriving onsite.

Little Italy is quickly becoming the heart of the downtown San Diego area, featuring over 70 patio cafes, restaurants, pubs and so much more to explore. If you are looking to explore other parts of San Diego, there is a trolley stop and bus stop just a few blocks away that will connect you from the Mexican border all the way to La Jolla.

Hostels by Hotel Zindel - Terms & Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 16:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit & debit cards.
This property will pre-authorize your card before arrival.

General:

Guests must be 18 years or older to make a reservation. Guests who are not 18 years old are allowed to stay with us, as long as a parent or guardian is staying with them. We recommend booking a private room if you are traveling with someone under 18.

Guest must have a valid government issued photo ID from outside San Diego County and a credit or debit card in their name to stay with us.

Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am.

We do not accept locals at this location, which would include anyone residing within San Diego county. If you have an ID from within San Diego county but do not live here then we would need to see proof of your living elsewhere (an electric bill, rent bill, phone bill with your current non San Diego address).

I stayed in the shared room for a night, and it was terrible, the code that they gave me was useless. It had a mind of its own, it will work if you're lucky, but other times, So I locked my car keys and my wallet in it, in the morning that thing wouldn't open, I was using paid private parking, $50 for 15 hours. and sincey valuables were locked I could get out of the Parking in time and I had to pay $60 fine on top of it. they gave me back room rent $38. But I would never stay in a hostel, ever.
