Berunes HI Hostel

The Berunes family warmly welcomes you to join them for a memorable experience at their farm. Their on-site restaurant, open for 3-4 months from June 1st, is a popular choice and offers meals crafted from locally sourced ingredients and drinks from nearby microbreweries. You can secure a reservation in advance by reaching out to us.

Berunes HI Hostel provides a diverse range of accommodation options tailored to meet various needs. Guests can choose from basic rooms with shared bathrooms, private rentals of cottages and apartments, or savor the authentic vistas at the Old Hostel, all of which provide breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.

During your stay, we recommend hiking up the hills for a panoramic view and taking leisurely strolls along the coast. Berunes serves as an ideal base for those seeking a peaceful and genuine experience in Iceland's East, with the added advantage of being within an hour's drive from most desired destinations.

Berunes Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 4 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 15:00 to 22:00 .
Check out from 07:00 to 11:00 .

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards.
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included - 18 EUR per person per day.
