Mi Cuartito en Bacalar is a unique space with private rooms, shared kitchen, garden area, only 4 blocks from the Bacalar lagoon, very close to the ADO bus terminal, each room has 2 double beds, hammock, TV, internet, private balcony and fans, we have kayaks for rent per day at special prices for guests and also bicycles.

We are located just 4 blocks from the public pier of Bacalar and the new ecological pier, which grants free access to the lagoon for only 20 Mexican pesos. We are very close to the market as well as several restaurants and places of interest.

The property advertises a private bathroom and the booking confirmation says ensuite. Its not ensuite. Toilet/shower room and washroom are up a flight of concrete steps on the outside via the garden area. The bedroom has a door to the outside main drive which is open to the road. The door is an internal door with a flimsy lock. Owner said shout for me over the fence if necessary. I did but no answer. This is worth about MXN 200 per night . If you are really penniless. Cockrell starts at 4am.
