Surf Nest Hostel are the best options to stay in Puerto Escondido, with two locations, here (dwn twn) is the perfect place to rest and work if you come on a quieter plan. very close to the local market with delicious food, and in the other location (tamarindos near Zicatela beach) where you can enjoy its incredible pool and terrace with breakfast and various activities!!

This hostel was great value for money and even had free fruit in the morning
If you’re into partying I’d recommend staying closer to la Punta / Zicatela as it’s hard to find taxis back here at night time for cheap especially if solo, and collectivos stop at 8pm. However to relax and recover this hostel was super chill and the staff really friendly and helpful! Te-A especially was really lovely and happy to help!

Hostel is in the process to be nice one day. Rooms are ok. Bathrooms and toilets not really clean. Kitchen doesn’t have anything common - as an oil, salt, pepper… And staff - you even don’t know who works there.
