We are a family-run hostel, where you'll be treated to breath-taking views of both the mountains and the sea. Our on-site restaurant serves delicious meals that you can enjoy whilst watching the sunset. Hostal Vista Verde Minca is located in the stunning sector of Monte Cristo, just 1.7 kilometres above the center of Minca. Our hostel is situated amidst lush jungle, offering a wealth of birdlife and natural beauty. We are conveniently located close to the breath-taking Cascada Perdida waterfall, the charming Finca La Candelaria, and several streams. For those seeking adventure, the stunning Pozo Azul is just a 30-minute walk away, allowing you to explore the natural wonders of the region. Our rooms are meticulously cleaned to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for our guests. In line with our commitment to being environmentally conscious and in harmony with the nature around us, we have incorporated bamboo into the construction of our hostel. This reflects our inspiration from the nature that surrounds us.

Vista Verde is a little Utopia situated high above Minca. Julia has truly made something special here with her family and it was amazing to be apart of that. The sunrise and sunset views are second to none and it’s close to so many cool waterfalls. They also give you tips for where to go and what to see. She’s also an amazing cook so you don’t even need to venture out for a nice meal. I would be surprised if Vista Verde wasn’t your favourite place you’ve stayed in Colombia.

Julia is a fantastic host, and Vista Verde is a beautiful space nestled high up on the hill. It's about a 30 minute walk from town, but if you want some tranquility, good food, and a beautiful view with lots of hammocks and a lounging net, this is the perfect place to get away. Julia also gives lots of recommendations on things to do in the area, including coffee & cacao tours, waterfalls, swimming spots, and restaurants (many less busy than the better known places around Minca).

We had a beautiful time here. Julia is a phenomenal host, very responsive and offering useful local insights. There are impressive views out to the sea and a tranquil ambience created by the hostel’s immersion in the surrounding jungle. Our room was large, comfortable and well-equipped. The hostel is kept in immaculate condition. A hearty breakfast is included and the food from the restaurant at night was tasty and filling. Great place to recharge and we’d definitely recommend!
