A good hostel generally speaking. Quite close to a lot of what you want to see in Cat Ba. The staff is lovely and the food is (a little expensive but) very good. Worth mentioning, however, the shower heads were rusty and I did see a rat in the corridor once.

Really chilled social vibe, very easy to meet people. Rooms were nice, hard to find the a/c remote though. Staff were lovely too!
