Welcome to Surfnest Tamarindos located less than 400m from the famous Zicatala Beach! Come and stay with us in our dorm only hostel where you will be close to everything you could want in Puerto Escondido.
We provide a fun atmosphere with a bar open select days of the week and pool that is open all year round! We are a small hostel that is focused on customer service and everyone getting to know each other with a big garden and great pool to grow those new friendships.
You can enjoy an really good and healthy breakfast with some fruit, coffee, tea and cereals.
The Hostel is located just 250m from the Zicatela market where you can amazing food and buy anything you could need for your stay. We are also just a short taxi ride away from the now famous La Punta beach and the bustling nightlife on the Zicatela strip.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 15:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 12:00 .

Location good, hostel nice got potential but lacked atmosphere

SurfNest is still being built with builders in every day. We stayed in two rooms and paid around €45 a night for each. The first had no windows and the second has a bed and no other furniture. In both rooms the floor was dusty concrete. The staff were good and the hostel has potential to be nice, but it’s a bad deal currently.

The best atmosphere ever! The common areas are simply amazing with a large pool, hammocks and a huge kitchen. The rooms are good and comfortable beds. Super clean and lively day and night, the place to be in Puerto! Run by amazing volunteers who create a great feeling of community.
