Welcome to Memories Weligama,
Memories is our family run business, with the goal to offer for all kinds of travelers a home feeling stay.
The Hostel room shares the space with a Co-Living area. You have access to high speed WiFi, a restaurant and a common area to spend time with your friends, other travelers and locals. The rooftop is the perfect place to take a moment for yourself.
You can add to your booking a vegetarian or vegan breakfast. Beside this, we have an a-lá-carte menu restaurant, where you'll find delicious food all day long.
If you want to surf, practice yoga or just have a chilled holiday this is the place to be. You can go to the beach within 5 minutes by foot. The bus station is 2 minutes away, the train station only 5 minutes. Weligama is located perfectly in the middle of an amazing beach area to explore. Hop on the bus or rent a scooter and within 20 min you can explore cute villages, beautiful beaches, snorkeling with sea turtles, eat the best food in Sri Lanka and enjoy the peacefulness at the beach.
We provide surfing lessons for beginner and intermediate surfers. If you would like to have some pictures of you riding the waves we can arrange a surf photography shooting from inside the water!
Every evening there will be different events happening in and around Weligama. From dancing parties, open-mic and skate-jams to our homemade family dinners, you will find something suitable for you!

***Property Policies***
Cancellation policy: 5 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 2:00pm to 8:00pm .
Check out until 12:00pm .
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included.
No curfew.
Pets are not allowed.

We only stayed for one night, but the staff was truly so nice and welcoming when we arrived in the evening! The owner made sure we had everything we needed. The room we stayed in was spacious and the bathroom was clean and had a good shower. Would come again!

The staff was nice and they had some good food on the menu. The place was very clean and common-area had a nice atmosphere. The bedroom smelled like soap and the sheets very clean. The included breakfast was nice with the choice of pancakes or omelette+juice and pot of coffe/tea. So i was very happy compared to how cheap my stay was. The only negative i would say, is that the location was a little bit far away in my opinion. The walk to the main beach where all the surfing schools are took 20min
