Hostal Huaraz Colonial is a cheerful, clean and spacious hostel with a huge patio, with a beautiful terrace to rest. We also have common areas: living room, common kitchen, green and quiet garden.

Located in Huaraz and with Estadio Rosas Pampa reachable within 500 metres, just 5 minutes from the bus terminal, 15 minutes from the main square, 5 minutes from the central market.

Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, while selected rooms come with a terrace and others also offer city views.

It has everything a traveller could need, from friendly staff to free breakfast and Wi-Fi throughout the hostel.

Staff helpful but not the friendliest. The included breakfast is quite small: Only about half an egg, a banana, and two small buns. Also on some days it wasnâ€™t ready until 8am when most people are already hiking. 2/3 of the toilets downstairs were broken, and the one toilet in the dorm is an ensuite with an open window to the beds so it smells the room. Shower pressure terrible and often not hot. Could make the common areas nicer. Location is good and close to the central market.
