Tagbalayon Lodging House

Best stay during my time in the Philippines. Staff knows your name and is really helpful. Everything you want in your room is there and some nice extras. Close to a lot of restaurants and the sea. From the stay it is easy to go everywhere with a bike.

Great hostel. Staff so accommodating. Got picked up from the port. Easy to hire scooter from the hostel and arranged a trip to see the fireflies at night. Restaurant has a great menu and very well priced. Beds comfy and privacy curtain was good. Only negative is no hooks in the shower room so hard to hang things while you wash but apart from that great hostel. Would recommend!

I rarely stay in a room with more than 6 ppl because I have experienced it to be very noisy but in Tagbalayon, even if there are about 12 in the room, I find it very peaceful n relaxing. They even clean n change the sheets/towels regularly. They also have a restaurant that serves really good food at an affordable price. But what makes Tagbalayon really special is their very friendly n accommodating staffs. :) The only issue I had was the wifi, wish it could be improved so it’s not hard to work.
