Words can’t express how kind the staff and owner of Shark Hostel are. Having fallen sick while in Hue, we were looked after and taken care of with attentiveness and care. While we were recovering, we were unfortunately stuck in a flood which left us unable to leave the 2nd floor of the building. Of course this weather is out of the hostels control but considering its location in a flood prone area and the yearly heavy rain, we expected some sort of plan B (long life food, supplies etc) - 10/10

The staff are very helpful in providing information about sight seeing around Hue. Slightly set back from the main road so not much traffic noise, however there is a karaoke bar next door which plays incredibly loud music every night until about 10:30pm. Otherwise a nice quiet hostel with a decent private room. Not very social but this wasn’t an issue for us.

This is a good place to stay for one night. You get what you pay for. The air conditioning is rubbish, not social at all. Breakfast is good and staff are helpful.
