We are located in one of the best areas of Bacalar, near to some of the finest tourist attractions and landmarks of the city such as the Lagoon of the Seven Colors, Mirador De Elizabeth Perez and Fort San Felipe Bacalar, amongst other interesting areas of our city.
Casa Yunuem is a chill house manager by a family, our mission is to make you feel like home, giving you the facilities to explore and visit the most important place here in Bacalar. The lodging counts with 3 private rooms and 5 shared rooms, the shared bathrooms, three community areas, kitchen if you want to cook or keep something in the fridge, TV area and WIFI all around the lodging.

Was initially unsure of this hostel due to the lack of recent reviews on website . However, our stay here was comfy, clean and the staff were amazing. Breakfast was great too - toast, cereal and fresh fruit made to order. There weren't many people staying but there were good social spaces so lots of potential. free bike rental was great too. free the pet terrapin though!

Casa Yunuem was good for the $ you pay, EXCEPT for cleanliness. OMG this place needs major cleaning. kitchen, bathroom, rooms, very , very dirty. Location is good and we felt safe. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was very simple; bakery next door. Walk
From ADO not bad.
Would only stay again if they did some good deep cleaning.
Bacalar a MUST see, the best place for us was where the walking bridge above water is found. All that area was spectacular.

It wasnt clean at all, especially in the toilet/bathroom. There were missing toilet paper and no bag in the trash can. The shower was cold and there were hair everywhere. Also there was a really weird smell at the lounge area. Our beds had like a hole in the middle so we sank down, and there were spots on the sheets. My friend didn’t even sleep in a bed, she slept on a mattress on the floor. There were no shell to put your phone or stick nearby the bed. We can’t recommend this place.
