The place has a great vibe to it. So many little things to look at such as quotes left from other travelers. Hammocks, plants, the pool and the calm atmosphere create a really nice vibe and the location is good for daytrips. Also a lot of food places and shops around. Only thing is that compared to the other hostels in the area there were very little guests. So kinda have to be lucky with socializing as they are not loads of people around.

All good but they won't store your bag after check out like any other hostel would. You need to pay 50k if you want them to store your bag. This really put me off. Also staff is not really friendly.

Our private room was mainly made out of plastic and bed sheets with little protection from the outside world. The ‘air-con’ was a very old rusty fan at the end of the ‘bed’ (a mattress on the floor) and the shower (with no hot water) was a pipe taped to the ceiling.
If you are looking for a very basic and cheap place to crash in Yogyakarta this is fine, the atmosphere was good and people seemed sociable. We left one day into our 4 night stay with no refund as it was not what we wanted.
