Youth Hostal Regina, DORMS AND PRIVATE ROOMS WITH SHARED BATHROOM OR PRIVATE BATHROOM located in the Historic Center of Mexico City just 3 blocks from the ZÃ³calo, gives you the opportunity to give life to your trip: laugh, meet, eat, share and even create, but never alone , you'll always find someone else.
Within the Hostal Regina you will find a lot of movement and entertainment. You can not miss its Roof Top : a very special place where you can find mezcales and mojitos on Friday and Saturday till 5pm to 1 am. All days we have restaurant and bar service at the lobby till 8:30 to 12, where you can find Mexican food or international food. Be mate.
Sunday tuesday and Thursday we prepare a free 'dinner meeting' will all guests.

The staff, location and free events / breakfast were great! The staff were so helpful and friendly and it was great to be walking distance to the historical monuments. All the common areas were clean. We stayed in a private room with private bathroom, the room was loud but could sleep fine with earplugs and the fan drowning out the noise. The room was also a loft style and had no natural light so was very dark. The cleanliness of the private bathroom was ok. Overall a really good stay!

Great staff, very friendly and helpful, place is clean, beds comfy, good free breaky and often free dinners, it is a really well run hostel, Centro area is a little crazy for me but I can definitely recommend the hostel.

Staff at the hostel were very friendly and helpful, especially as a nervous first time traveller in Mexico. The location is great, very close to the central plaza and there are plenty of free events and food. The hostel is a little strange as there is public access to the rooftop bar and Cafe downstairs but my room was far enough away that it wasn't too much of a problem. The bar plays music until around 1am on Fridays and Saturdays but bring some earplugs and you won't notice it.
