This was a great hostel, but I would not recommend staying here solely because of the location. The staff were excellent, the breakfast was nice, and booking all of the tours and transport was easy and highly convenient. Note that the staff did not speak English (which is obviously fine, but not what I was led to believe). However, Bonito is a lovely town, and it really sucks to have to trek for half an hour in each direction to get to the hostel, and it’s really just not worth it, stay downtown

This hostel was the perfect choice! It's great that they are also an agency, they customize tours and give honest tips on what's worth doing around town. Also, they have a big pool and a hammock area to chill out with other guests. I felt safe and relaxed staying there as a solo traveller, in fact I met lots of other women at this hostel doing the same. Walking distance to/from downtown is half an hour, breakfast is okay and shower works pretty well. Definitely recommend this place!
