The 2kronor Hostel – Old Town is in one of Stockholm’s best areas, according to our visitors, who tell us it’s in ‘a beautiful spot in the inner city, close to shops, supermarkets and the underground’. This hostel is near the Old Town and an underground station. Hostelworld guests say this small, ‘clean and tastefully furnished’ hostel is ‘charming’ and ‘safe’, while one of our users said ‘we could really imagine coming back next time we are in Stockholm’.

We're at the most central place in Stockholm!
Dockside Hostel Old Town is located in Old Town at the waterfront. You can't find a better location in the centre of Stockholm. It's only a short walk to all places of interest. The subway in Gamla Stan is just 300-400 meters away. From there you can reach Central Station and all airport coaches in just a few minutes.
The small squares and alleys of Old Town offers you a wide range of cafés, pubs and restaurants. There you can enjoy breakfast , lunch or dinner to decent prices. In addition it's only a stone's throw to the heights of the bohemian section of the city called Södermalm. And two stones' throw to the hectic nightlife at Stureplan.
We have a capacity of 40 beds and offer accommodation suitable for all age groups in a relaxed and international atmosphere. There are showers and toilets in the corridor. We also have a nice guest kitchen where you can make your own breakfast or light meals. There's access to free Wi-Fi.
We have single, twin-, four- and six-bed private rooms plus dormitories. All beds are supplied with a duvet and a pillow. Bedlinen and towels are available at the reception for hire or alternatively you can bring your own. Please note that either way bedlinen must be used. Due to hygienic reasons, the use of sleeping bags is not allowed.

감라스탄 지구 바로 옆이라 위치는 좋습니다. 페리 타고 핀란드 넘어갈 예정이라면 선착장도 가까워요.
근데 호스텔은 좁고 어둡습니다. 침대시트는 돈을 내긴 하지만 게스트가 올때마다 새로 내주어서 찝찝하지는 않은데 침대 및 다른 시설들이 낡았어요. 방과 샤워실이 지하에 있어서 더 그렇게 느껴진 점도 없진 않습니다.

Super location, helpful staff, really good value for money. Our room was in the basement but it was clean and well organised. Will be happy to stay here next time I visit Stockholm

I think one of the things that puts us ahead of the rest is our location in Old Town on the same street as the Royal Palace and facing the waterfront with a view over Djurgården and Skeppsholmen. The sightseeing boats and ferries to the archipelago also leave from just down the street - you just couldn't find a better location!
Personally, I think that no one should miss out on the unique and beautiful island of Djurgården. You can either visit one of the many high quality museums like the Vasamuseum or just enjoy the beautiful surrounding park. It's like country side, but in the middle of the city! The ferry boat just outside the hostel takes you there in 10 minutes.
This is a small, family-owned hostel and we really try to make our guests feel at home. By creating a welcoming atmosphere and giving our guests advice on our personal favourites in Stockholm, I hope that we can give our guests a genuine experience of Stockholm.
I like the fact that our hostel attracts guests from different age groups and nationalities. We want to offer a place where people can meet and have fun together, but where you still should be able to get a good night's sleep.
