Mikalo House is very cozy and homely hostel situated just in the old town of Vilnius. Rooms are spacious and bright, tastefully decorated and offer all modern conveniences. You definately find your favorite space here - from large room with private bathroom inside to room with a balcony to enjoy your morning coffee. All rooms have heating during the autumn and winter season.
We offer you many facilities-private keys, bed liners, towels, little tables and place to put your things as well as nice decoration details to feel welcomed. Also you will find fully equipped kitchen, free tea and coffee, free wi-fi, bbq equipment .
You can relax in the elegant private yard. Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed). Please note ,as it is in old town ,so the gateway is quite narrow and is not suitable for bigger cars .

Cancellation Policy : 3 days before the arrival date.
Check in 14:00-17:00
Please note that the reception works everyday 8:00 - 16:00, if guests expect to arrive outside these hours, they are kindly asked to contact the property in advance to arrange key collection.

Payment upon arrival in cash, by bank or Paypal transfer.
No smoking inside the hostel.
No outside guests.

I enjoyed my stay here, the location is great. It is not a "party hostel" but I found the people there during my stay were lovely and sociable, so the vibe was very welcoming and friendly as a solo traveller.

Good hostel but not that neat, especially the bathrooms. Bed and linen are clean. Heating system for winter is excellent. Marcos was very helpful - the Manager.

This hostel is centrally located, the Wi-Fi is strong, and each bed comes with a locker. On the other hand, the rooms are uncomfortably hot and stuffy, the beds are old-fashioned (bunkbeds with no curtain, etc.), the kitchen is filthy (it was overrun with fruit flies and dirty dishes, the floor and countertops were stained, and all of the wastebaskets were overflowing), the bathrooms are cramped, they have no real common areas to speak of, and they don't tell you much about the city at reception
