Hikers Hostel is located in Plovdiv the cultural capital of Bulgaria. The city lies among seven hills and is therefore called The town of the Hills. Its 8000-year-old history has contributed to its present authenticity and beauty. Many cultures have left a trace behind and the mixture of Roman, Trace, Ottoman and traditional Bulgarian architectures add up to the romantic spirit of the town.
Hikers Hostel is located in the beautiful Ancient Town of Plovdiv, which is adjacent to the city centre, on Nebet Tepe (Nebet Hill). The two-storey building represents the typical architecture from the Revival Period of the 19th century in Bulgaria. Although situated on the main cobblestone-paved street in the Ancient Town, the area is peaceful and is the perfect home for the numerous arts and crafts houses. The hostel is surrounded by many museums, arts galleries, arts schools, churches and museum-houses from the Revival Period that once belonged to renowned Bulgarian artists. About 200 metres away from Hikers Hostel is the famous Ancient Amphitheatre, built by the Romans. It is by far the best preserved artifact and along with the incredible acoustics, which needs no additional sound system, the Ancient Amphitheatre is the perfect spot for symphonic orchestras, concerts and theatre plays.

분위기가정말좋았음!! 위치도상당히좋다!! 자유로운분위기에 다른 게스트들과 편하게이야기할수있다. 다만 깔끔하게정돈된 호스텔을 원한다면 피하는게 좋을듯 그리고 방이좀춥다. 담요더달라했음

welcomed by the nice couple volunteers from Brazil, they doing an amazing job. The hostel full with Bulgarian homeless some have mantel problems, they rude and disrespectful to the guest. Opening the light a while a guest is a sleep at 5am in the morning, talk on the phone in the middle of the night, one young kid wearing all black very aggressive, as a solo female traveler I felt uncomfortable and unsafe. In my country locals are not welcome in the hostel they limit to stay and if they not behave they asked to leave immediately. It’s better to have homeless room for them and room for travelers so we’ll not suffer from disrespectful behavior. Upon my checked out a while getting ready to check out a Bulgarian man kick me my bag although it wasn’t blocking anything being rude to me.- this hostel not safe for solo female traveler! When I took a locker I was superpoesd to find there another person bag although I was locking it up with a lock I got lucky notting was taken from me I left my passport and my wallet over night. I still checking with my bank account and asked my bank watch any activities that I didn’t do. It’s a big disappointment:( the locker was in the middle) if it opens from both way you should say something

Great atmosphere! Met some good friends here. Location is great and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was sufficient
