Backpackers Hostel prides itself on providing superior guest services, doing everything in its power to make sure you have an enjoyable and memorable visit. When we are busy, FUN is the name of the game. In the quieter times, well let's keep the guests coming and we won't worry about that.

Our facilities are second to none, and we can accommodate our guests in safe, clean dormitory style rooms or spacious, comfortable and hip private rooms. All rooms are recently renovated with ensuites and kitchenettes in every room. As with most hostels, we enforce a strict no-smoking policy of any product inside our facility.

Backpackers is a 12 minute walk to Wellington Station on the MBTA Orange Line, the Premier line in the Boston Metro System. The Orange Line provides the MOST DIRECT access to the most popular tourists attractions in Boston.

Also, very easy access to the MBTA's SILVER LINE with DIRECT ACCESS to LOGAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, the SOUTH STATION bus and train terminals, the newly developed SEAPORT DISTRICT with restaurants, breweries and shopping.

If HARVARD and MIT are on your radar, both destinations are easy accessible by public transportation or automobile to Cambridge.

We are the closest hostel to SALEM MA, the WITCH CAPITAL. The CHELSEA commuter train station with direct access to Salem, is minutes from our hostel.

Backpackers Hostel is located in the City of Everett, a city that is coming alive. Take a 10 minute walk to the ENCORE CASINO RESORT, a fabulous display of flowers and waterways, and a 5 star hotel and casino. A sure bet is to keep your money in your pocket, but marvel at one of the most luxurious casino's on the planet.

A 10 minute walk to Boston's favorite CRAFT BEER DISTRICT. Home to Award Winning NIGHT SHIFT BREWING, BONE UP BREWING, BEER MOOSE COMPANY, SHORT PATH DISTILLERY or AERONUT CANNNERY AND TAPROOM, with food trucks and live music acts on the weekend.

MARIJUANA is legal in Massachsetts, and the RISE Dispensary is located nearby.

EVERETT SQUARE, a 5 minute walk, is a very diverse, comfortable and safe neighborhood center. Home to some of the most delicious food establishments at prices far more affordable than Central Boston. Seafood, Pizza, Tacos, Burritos, Steaks, Sandwiches and much more.

Getting to Backpackers Hostel on Public Transportation is very easy. From Sullivan Square on the Orange Line, take the #104 or #109 bus to Gladstone Street. From Wellington Statin on the Orange Line take the #110 to Gladstone Street. The hostel is a 2 minute walk from this T stop.
