Luminosa Uvita

A little bit disappointed with this place, the staff were absolutely amazing but clearly the owner is a bit disorganised. I got moved into a larger dorm than paid for, which was far away from everything else, where wifi couldn’t reach. Wifi barely worked anyway. When I booked, hot water and aircon was advertised but you don’t get either. Owner reluctantly refunded us a night which was nice. The cabin room I stayed in had lots of bugs at night, but beds were still comfortable to sleep in. Our bathroom was literally open for the world to see and no lock. Did not feel comfortable having a shower in there as anyone outside could see inside. There were other bathrooms far to use though. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Such a nice hostel! Clean, comfortable, nice facilities, awesome staff and tours to book. Perfect place to stay for a couple of nights and relax. It‘s a bit further away from the center, so if you‘re looking for a busy days, this might not be the hostel for you. 😉

I really enjoyed staying at Luminosa! I extended my stay a few times because I really liked Uvita and the people at the hostel were so nice, especially the volunteers:) I felt very safe and comfortable staying there. So this place is absolutely recommendable:)
