I really enjoyed my stay at the Vida Boa Lodge in Praia do Luz. I was staying at Vida Boa in the low season, there weren't many other travelers passing through the Algarve in January. Lily and Dave are top notch hosts, and I had a great few days there. Specifically, the breakfasts were delicious, and I appreciated that they were able to organize a really fun day of hiking for us guests with a local guide. I'd love to come back during a busier time of year.

What an amazing place. One of my favourite stays in Europe … ever!! Dave, lily, and Soph were wonderful hosts. I like a little more peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. It has a wonderful friendly atmosphere, I was as a solo traveller at the time, you could meet people and have some good conversations. Dave puts together a great morning breakfast. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I had the most incredible stay at Vida Boa Lodge - beautiful setting, endless activities on offer and amazing hospitality from Lily & her team. This was my first time travelling alone, and I was made to feel right at home. I met some really great people, most of which were between 25-35... this isn't a super young or party hostel, its a very chilled vibe but perfect for what I was after. Could not recommend it more!
