Five Elements Hostel Frankfurt is in a great location just around the corner from the Hauptbahnhof and about 15 minutes’ walk from the Alte Oper. This safe and comfortable hostel features free dinners and activities every day and also has an onsite bar open 24/7. Several Hostelworld guests have told us that they’d stay here again, citing the games room with foosball and pool table and the Wi-Fi throughout the building.

from 15th of November 2021 we only accept vaccinated or recovered guests, in return we are free from masks and distancing in the house. Finally normal hostel life! We are looking forward to it!

We do our very best to bring our guests the full Five Elements experience. But sometimes things happen, so please note that activities may be changed/cancelled at any time.
No more aching backs! We offer new, comfortable mattress in all rooms (20cm spring mattresses, and 16cm soft foam mattresses) to ensure you have the most comfortable stay with us.
We have breakfast every morning from 7:30-12 for 6,50 EUR. Our breakfast is vegetarian, and vegan friendly as we offer a variety of breakfast foods, ranging from different breads, locally sourced meats (local sausage & bacon), fruits, vegetables, cheeses, hummus, lentil spreads, yogurts, nuts, cereals, muesli, jams, and more! We're also proud of the fact that the majority of our foods come without packaging, as a way to help reduce waste.

There is one tiny downside to our LOCATION: we are located smack dab in the middle of the RED LIGHT DISTRICT! Anyhow, it is NOT at all dangerous and our hostel has a HIGH safety standard. We only mention this so you don't find yourself surprised upon arrival. Our neighbourhood is home to some of the best food and clubs Frankfurt has to offer. In fact, the New York Times even wrote an article on our upcoming neighbourhood in 2016! However, if you don't feel comfortable staying in this area, feel free to book somewhere else.
If this isn't a problem, you'll discover many upsides to our location:
- 3 min walk from the train station
- 10 min walk to the museums/river bank
- 15 min walk to the city center, old city, and main shopping area
And - we promise - you'll find the best international food in our neighbourhood!

Near the station but too scary at ngiht

근처가 홍등가인거 알고있어서
딱히 신경 안쓰였고 무시하고 가면된다.
위치는 중앙역이랑 가까워서 좋았고
근처 케밥집에서 맛있게 먹었습니다.
직원이 항시있어서 문을 열어주었는데
저희방에 도둑이 들었었습니다. 그래서 신고해서 경찰도 왔고요.
머물시 꼭 보안대책 강구하고 가세요. 침대밑에 캐비닛있으니
거기넣고 자물쇠꼭 사가서 잠구고 가세요.

위치 말고는 모든 것이 완벽했던 호스텔. 중앙역에서 매우 가깝지만 홍등가 한복판이라서 진짜 무섭다. 그러나 그 외에는 모두 만족스러워서 다시 프랑크푸르트에 방문해도 묵을 것 같음. 무료 조식도 간단하고 맛있었고, 항시 리셉션이 열려 있고 로비에서 컴퓨터 하기도 좋다. 프린트도 요청하면 해주셨다.

Yo diría que nuestra característica más singular es que nuestro personal adora tanto a los huéspedes que siempre acaba pasando el rato con ellos en el albergue. Aquí siempre encontrarás alguien con quién hablar. En verdad, nuestro personal es considerado el más simpático de toda Alemania. También tenemos actividades gratuitas todas las noches, además de un billar, un bar y un patio trasero.
Nos encontramos muy cerca de la estación principal de Frankfurt y del río Main, los museos, el jardín botánico y los centros comerciales. Una parte de la ciudad que sin duda recomendaría es el barrio de pubs Äppelwoi Sachsenhausen que está lleno de pequeñas tiendas exclusivas, bares y restaurantes. Nos gusta tanto que incluso ofrecemos una ruta de pubs gratuita por el barrio de Sachsenhausen una vez a la semana.
No importa si has venido expresamente a visitar la ciudad y los hermosos alrededores de Frankfurt, o si sólo estás de paso por el aeropuerto más grande de Alemania, en nuestro albergue estaremos encantados de ser tu hogar por unos días.
