The best hostel experience I have ever had! The atmosphere is so warm, and even though I was traveling by myself, I made friends super quickly. Nicole and her entire family are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hostel also offers great tours of the national park and can connect you to scuba/snorkeling tours. The room was clean and comfy. I can not recommend Kona Tau enough!!

Generally it was a cheap hostel for two. But there was not internet at the island. And there was no people can help you in english . Everything was working through body language . To Someone told there will be pick up but there wasnt . It says free breakfast on hostelworld but none. The problem was , they dont know what they say at profile . Problably a volunteer did for them. They werent know how many days will i stay so i told . What if i say more probably we would be twisted . But good!!

Great experience here. Tour of town upon pick up. Offered well priced tours full and half days with staff. (you need a local guide to visit most of the island) Diego who guided was very kind and helpful. I was the only gringa in my stay here and no one spoke much english but staff and other guests were patient with my poor spanish. Hanga Roa is very safe, I walked home at night solo no problem. There were keys for rooms and ability to lock your closet space. Social andfamily like. No wifi.
