Because you are making a Group Booking, there are additional Terms and Conditions that apply. Please read them and click 'I Accept' below to continue with your booking
General Group Booking Terms
By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.
- In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
- The booking deposit is non-refundable.
- Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
- Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
- Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
- It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
- Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.
Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions
The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card on arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.
Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy
Cancellations or changes prior to the arrival date - At least 48 hours advance notice is required to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 48-hours of the arrival date will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking fee. Cancellations made within 24-hours of the arrival date will incur a charge of one night’s accommodation per person included in the reservation. No shows will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking fee. Cancellations and changes to any booking must be received in writing to email@example.com. All cancellation charges and refunds will be processed using the credit card used to make the booking.
Additional Terms and Conditions
1. Terms and Conditions of Booking - Direct:
The website for Firehouse Hostel & Museum, located at the URL http://firehousehostel.org is operated by Hostelling Arkansas, Inc.
By booking a bed, accommodation or package (Products) on the Site and checking the box marked (I Agree) you are accepting our offer to be bound by the following:
(a) the Product Descriptions as selected from the Site;
(b) the Terms and Conditions of this Agreement;
2. Bookings and payment
A valid government-issued photo ID is required upon check-in. For bookings of more than one person in dorms we do our best to put everybody in the same room but at busy times it is not always possible so we do not guarantee it. Customers under 18 years old are to travel with a parent/guardian/teacher.
Maximum Stay Policy
No guest may stay at the hostel for more than 14 nights in a 30-day period.
(a) A valid credit card must be provided to guarantee a booking and to process any cancellations that may occur.
(b) Payments made by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or cash may be accepted. Bank transfers are also available and are done at a manager’s discretion.
(c) The booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from Firehouse Hostel & Museum acknowledging acceptance of your booking.
(d) The rates displayed may be discounted and are not valid in conjunction with any other offer once the payment has been received.
2.2 Consent to the provision of information to Third Parties
Clients acknowledge that their payment details associated with the Products booked through the Site as received by us may be provided to a third party solely for the purpose of processing their payment. The relevant third party will process payments and Clients are taken to have agreed to the terms and conditions of any third party payment processor used by Firehouse Hostel & Museum.
3. Cancellations and Changes
Cancellations of and changes to any booking must be received by the Product Provider in writing addressed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
3.1 Cancellation Rules
(a) Cancellations while at the Product Provider - Cancellations made throughout the duration of the booking will incur a charge of one night’s accommodation per person included in the booking. All remaining balances will be refunded in full on the credit card used to make the booking.
(b) Cancellations or changes prior to the arrival date - At least 48 hours advance notice is required to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 48-hours of the arrival date will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking fee. Cancellations made within 24-hours of the arrival date will incur a charge of one night’s accommodation per person included in the reservation. No shows will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking fee.
(c) A valid cancellation notice must include:
i) reservation confirmation reference
ii) guest name
iii) email address as these details appear on your confirmation of booking.
3.2 Change requests: (a) Any requested changes with respect to a Client's booking, including check-in and check-out dates and product configuration, must be made directly with the Product Provider whose contact details will be set out in the Clients booking confirmation. (b) Clients acknowledge that all reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your change request but Firehouse Hostel & Museum is under no obligation to guarantee that change requests will be accommodated.
(a) All cancellation charges and refunds will be processed using the credit card used by the Client to make the booking.
(b) All refunds will be processed within 10 working days after a valid cancellation notice has been received.
4. Disclaimer relating to bookings
(a) Any loss or damage which is or may be suffered by Clients in connection with the purchase and use of any Products offered by the Product Provider: Firehouse Hostel & Museum, at their sole discretion, limits its liability to the extent permitted by law, and is fair and reasonable for Firehouse Hostel & Museum to do so, to either: (i) for goods: (A) repairing or replacing those goods; or (B) paying the cost of having those goods repaired or replaced, and (ii) for services:(A) resupplying the services; or (B) paying the cost of having the services resupplied.
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless in respect of all liability incurred by Firehouse Hostel & Museum for any loss, damage, cost or expense, howsoever caused, suffered or incurred by Firehouse Hostel & Museum as a result of a breach of these Terms and Conditions.
6. In-house Policy
No smoking is permitted in or around the hostel premises or within the MacArthur Park grounds. The following items are not permitted on hostel premises: illegal drugs, firearms, fireworks, sleeping bags or personal bedding of any kind, pets (service animals excepted).
If the number of guests in a room exceeds the number of beds paid for, payment will be required for the extra people present in the room and may lead to the issuing of a trespass notice for everyone involved in the offense.
Any damages to hostel property will be charged to the credit card of the person responsible.
All lost or damaged key cards will incur a charge of $10.
Check-in time is 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 10:00 AM.
You are required to bring your sheets, pillow case, towel, and key to reception to proceed with check-out. If you fail to check-out by 10:00 AM, you may be charged for an additional night’s accommodation.
No refunds will be provided to any guest that is asked to leave the hostel premises as a result of a breach of these Terms & Conditions.
8. Entire Agreement
Firehouse Hostel & Museum reserves all rights to edit or remove these Terms & Conditions at any time. These Terms and Conditions and any warranties implied by law which are not capable of being excluded or modified embody the entire agreement between the parties. Any contact with Customer Service Officers of Firehouse Hostel & Museum that includes any negotiations, representations, warranties, arrangements and statements (if any) whether expressed or implied, including any collateral agreement or warranty, with reference to the subject matter or the intentions of either of the parties are merged and otherwise are excluded and cancelled by these Terms and Conditions.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Cash. A credit card is required in order to guarantee reservations, but at check-in you can choose to pay with cash if preferred.
The following group types are not accepted by this hostel: Stag/Hen/Bachelor Party If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel."
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian or parent. For school groups, one chaperone is required for every 5 minors.
Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.
HI Little Rock Firehouse Hostel & Museum is located at 1201 Commerce Street in Little Rock, Arkansas, 72202. The Hostel is in historic MacArthur Park directly behind both the Arkansas Arts Center and MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History one block west of Interstate 30 and near Interstate 630. Both Yellow Cab Taxi and Uber operate in Little Rock.
All beds in the hostel are twin-size bunk beds. We have a women’s dorm with 6 bunk beds (12 people max), men’s dorm with 7 bunk beds (14 people max), a wheelchair accessible room with 3 bunk beds (6 people max), and an ensuite room with 2 bunk beds for 4 people.
Check-in is 3-10 PM. Please let us know if you need to arrive later than 10 PM so that necessary arrangements can be made.
Guests are required to check out of their rooms by 10 AM on their day of departure but are welcome to continue to enjoy the common areas.
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.

•Adults must provide a valid government-issued picture identification card at check-in (passport, driver's license, state or military ID accepted).
•All lost or damaged key cards will incur a charge of $10.
•No curfew. Once checked in, guests will have 24-hour access to the front door via their key card.
• No smoking permitted on the hostel premises.
• Please note that from 10 AM-3 PM daily the museum will be operating and staff will be cleaning to keep the hostel running smoothly.
• Complimentary guest computer access, wireless internet & on-site/off-street parking is available.
•Various snacks and toiletries are available for sale at our reception desk.
•The hostel has a kitchen and laundry facilities.
•We offer a free continental breakfast daily from 7–10 AM.
•Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and towels are provided free of charge. Sleeping bags and personal bedding are not permitted.
•Storage lockers are provided. Please either use your own personal lock or rent/buy one from reception.
• Maximum Stay Policy - No guest may stay at the hostel for more than 14 nights in a 30-day period.
