Irish company Hostelworld.com was launched in 1999 when they developed an idea that changed the face of the online budget travel industry - they filled a gap in the travel market that had previously been ignored by introducing online bookings into hostels.
10 years on Hostelworld.com has gone on to sell 71 million beds, processed over 15 million bookings and generated more than 2 million user reviews of hostels worldwide. Hostelworld.com also offers extensive award winning content including free podcasts, city guides and videos.
